Splace

Creation of a sports mobile application.
I created the complete identity of a mobile application dedicated to sports matches. The aim was to allow users to easily find partners or sports groups through an interactive map and a swipe system. The project was incubated in Paris La Sorbonne and I was in charge of all the design, product and development of the application.
I first carried out the competitive analysis, the visual identity, the logo, the first models and the basic graphic elements. I then structured the application by defining user journeys, user flows and wireframes, before testing different paths to refine the understanding of the screens. The entire functional architecture has been designed to provide a simple, fast and intuitive experience, based on geolocation and sports preferences.
After the tests, I designed the final interface and moved on to development to transform the design into a functional application. This work taught me a lot about the coherence of a mobile identity, the structure of a social app and the progression of a digital product, from the idea to the first functionalities.
The project was very well received. Our presentation was unanimous in front of a jury of more than eight people and the application quickly aroused interest. Development stopped later, for reasons independent of the concept itself, but Splace remains a founding project for me. It allowed me to work on a complete product, to experience all aspects of a mobile application and to understand the real pace of such a project.
